Hello!
I definitely hate writing the first post of a new blog. Time and time again, I've tried keeping a blog and each time I've failed miserably. I'm not sure what I expect to be any different with this attempt but I'm adamant that I make more of an effort to blog :)
As of last year I've finally graduated University which I am so very happy about. No more nights spent cramming for 8am exams or frantically finishing off essays due at midnight. As glad as I am that I now have a degree, I'm excited to have the time to read books that have not been assigned for a class! I've written up a new 101 things in 1001 days list which includes a list of books to read and films and TV series to watch, which I hope to write about on this blog.
It's safe to say that today was a very good day. I finally purchased the contents of my book depository basket which had been sitting there for days. I've recently been trying to rebuild my collection of childhood books I used to have and stupidly thought I didn't want them anymore and never would. Wrong! There's one in particular which I'd absolutely adore to have back in my possession but I am completely clueless as to who the author is or what the book is even called. All I can remember is that it was a fairly big hardback book with a pale yellow cover with lots of little stories inside. The characters were all animals, I'm sure I remember the first story being about bunnies. And I vividly remember quite a few of the stories. In one, a mother made her son a playsuit and he had a friend over to play and in another they had a parent's evening. I'm so frustrated that I can't find the book! I've made so many attempts at googling what it may be called but I don't really have much to go on, hahaha.
I got quite a bit carried away there ;) so the main reason that today was brilliant was the fact that Eliza Dushku tweeted me for the third time AND followed me! So bloody happy! :) It's currently getting closer and closer to 3am and of course I decide this is the perfect time to start up a new blog ;) I'm also watching the first series of Trollied which I absolutely love. So I best leave this first post here and attempt to get to sleep before my parents wake up for work.
Goodnight <3
